After browsing the internet lookinc for something to do I started to see the incredibly high amount of people on social networking sites (and how many individual social networking sites there actually are). I don't see their "curb appeal" all they do is connect people with long distance relationships, which can make you neglect a person you are sitting next to.
A few social networking sites are fine, but just about all internet based companies have them (Microsoft's LiveSpaces, MySpace, FaceBook, Tagged, etc.). There are many starting up each day. Some even are calling themselves mobile social networks, as if the phones they were made for aren't enough of a "social networking" device already.
Don't get me wrong I know social networks are great, but isn't it about time we move forward in the world of "Web 2.0"?
